Giving Back

The HR Moye Foundation was founded in 2002 in honor of a beloved coach, great humanitarian, and outstanding sports figure in El Paso… the late H.R. Moye. Moye was a coach at Jefferson High School starting in 1954 and was a principal in 1969–72.

Moye’s mission in life was to help students, especially the less fortunate… and his humanitarian spirit was displayed to others in love and compassion. He helped young people in so many ways that he became more of a father figure to them.

It is in honoring Moye’s compassionate spirit that the Moye’s Boys members continue the legacy of helping young people.

On October 25, 2019 we will be having our 9th Annual Golf Tournament. This event will aid in raising funds to these children’s needs. We hope that through this and other fundraising efforts, we can continue to provide students better opportunities in school.
